Mission
We believe that the mission of the Chester Presbyterian Church is to use our gifts and talents to minister within the Church by providing a spiritually satisfying place of worship for one another while reaching outside our doors to benefit our community.
Locally, we are committed to several projects, to which we freely offer: our time as volunteers, our monetary aid, and our prayers. Our mission work includes but is not limited to the following:
Deacons
Lend assistance in various tasks. Care and Share Dinners, Creative Thoughtfulness, College Boxes, Fund Raising, Support (Reception) at Funerals, and Food Pantry. Our Deacons offer a year-long food pantry, with monthly distributions for families in the community.
Women’s Council
Is involved in different missions worldwide, such as buying and donating blankets and Bibles where they are most needed.
Prayer Chain
Offers our prayers for those in need, for those who are ill, either at home or in the hospital, for the shut-ins, for friends and members, for our community, for our leaders, and for our global community.
