Our Mission
We are committed to supporting the global mission of the PCUSA. We join with the rest of the PCUSA community in offering our prayers and help for the rest of the world through our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Locally, we are committed to several projects, to which we freely offer: our time as volunteers, our monetary aid, and our prayers.
Along with our Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Youth Group programs our mission work includes but is not limited to the following.
Prayer Chain offers our prayers for those in need, for those who are ill, either at home or in the hospital, for the shut-ins, for friends and members, for our community, for our leaders, and for our global community.
Women's Council is involved in different missions worldwide, such as buying and donating blankets and Bibles where they are most needed.
Chester Presbyterian Nursery School (CPNS) has enjoyed a successful and rewarding educational experience with four year old children since 1968, and is a not for profit school. The challenge of three year old children has been addressed since 1976, and enjoys an equally remarkable reputation. CPNS does not discriminate because of race, religion or ethnic background. CPNS prides itself on a staff that is constantly offering their own personal and creative abilities to generate a variety of studies and activities which encourage positive feelings in each child's individual growth, leading to social, emotional and intellectual achievement.
